TIM TEBOW

As many know, Tim Tebow made a promise, after the Mississippi lose, to play harder and put more effort out on the field than an other player (and more collectively as a team than another team) in the nation. Tebow came through on his proclamation as he and the Gators to on the invigorating SEC schedule. Tebow may have not had the best stats in the nation (still have some pretty good one); however, no one played with more heart or with a greater intensity to win than Tebow. This was quite apparent on the nationally televised game against Alabama where Tebow led the trailing Gators to victory in a dominating fourth quarter performance against what was the best team in the nation.

It should be noted that Tebow is not the clear cut favorite. Sam Bradford had some remarkable statistics on the season that should not be neglected of praise. Tebow nor Bradford can be distinguished at this point because of each player's contribution in different methods while in different circumstances. Both players are quite dignified, and it will be unfortunate that one player may be out of the Heisman since the National Championship game could be such a decisive factor in the voting - I am not suggesting that tradition be swayed; rather, some sort of compensation in the record books such as - "Player X won a revote after the National Championship Game."
